Cellular activity O6: Monoacylglycerol Acyltransferase (EC 2.3.1.22)
Reaction: 2-monoacylglycerol + acyl-CoA = 1,2 or 2,3-diacylglycerol + CoA
A candidate gene is At3g51520 (see O1)

Note: a Monoacylglycerol Acyltransferase has been purified from developing peanut cotyledons (see link) but it is not known if this activity exists in Arabidopsis. The peanut enzyme can also use 1-monoacylglycerol.
